Ways to Help

While governments have the primary responsibility to support victims of terrorism and uphold their rights, gaps in government responses can be filled by civil society and the international community. Together, we can offer multi-dimensional support that facilitates victims’ recovery, and their overall social, emotional and financial wellbeing.

In the context of Uganda, there are four levels of support that can be offered to victims;-

Through technical assistance and capacity building to relevant state institutions and civil society actors so they can better address the needs of victims and protect their rights.
